In Memoriam...
THOMAS CORCORAN
1928 - 2010
It is with the greatest sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our most recent past President, Tom Corcoran..."Corky". Corky passed sometime last Friday, February 12, 2010. Corky was a WW II Navy veteran, who gave of himself to the Catholic Church, his community, and The Aces Club above and beyond the call. He lost his arm while in service of the US, but it never kept him from playing cards, using a computer keyboard, or even one-handedly lighting matches from a matchbook. (He REALLY kept the youngsters fascinated with that one !!!) He was the custodian for one of the local churches here (St. William's Church in Price Hill in southern Cincinnati) to the end.
The Club will sorely miss his passing, as will his families, both close and extended. He was survived by a brother after losing his wife, Madeline, a number of years ago after 25+ years of marriage. We are all sad for his loss, but happy that the newly weds will be together again.
Prayers and thoughts will be appreciated. Gifts to St. William's Church, or St. Lawrence Church, both in the Price Hill area, will be appreciated if that is your wish.
Corky, you made a difference, and will be missed!!!
Several pictures of Corky are shown on the "Pictures...Here we are !!!" page if your are interested in truly seeing Santa Claus. Enjoy! We did!
Welcome to the Aces Club home page!
We hope that this home page will allow our members, and their extended families, and friends continuing updates regarding our undertakings and continuing information about club events, and community activities. For those who have "surfed" here....WELCOME and enjoy!
The current year's officers are:

Treasurer Tom Wuebbling (aka...Tommy)
We have a LOT of history to share, and plan to make it a fun place to vist. Our webmaster will be a club member, so you can plan on some "zings" here and there. We have club members from four states thusfar....Ohio, Indiana, Florida and TEXAS! ( OK Uncle Chuck... is that big enough print?) We're looking at opening our ranks to family, and friends of the core group at some point. Our hope is to have this grow together in the same spirit as it was conceived. We can guarantee, pictures will abound since we meet monthly.
Again, THANK YOU for visiting our site! We'll look forward to giving all of you future Aces' news.
Signed...
THE ACES
